“Ballie-Ballerson-An Adult Cocktail Ball-Pit Bar” An Adult Cocktail ball pit bar? Sounds weird and quirky right? Ballie Ballerson, the name itself makes you curious about what this place has to offer you! This summer break my family decided to visit London as our yearly foreign trip.
We wandered during the day discovering the local life around. On our very first day, we interacted with a lot of other tourists and locals while we were on a shopping spree where we wandered the oxford street for more than 6 hours, of course, the benefit of having a shopaholic family. Surfing the internet and asking the locals around about all the best places and night clubs to visit one of the locals suggested,
“Yo man you go to Ballie Ballerson if you want to revive your wildest childhood fantasies!” I must say the description that he gave was quite underrated as to what I got to experience! I didn’t expect to find this.....
A world-famous venue featuring over ONE MILLION BALLS, promising you to take back in time as a ball pit time machine. An experience that will keep you laughing for hours and begging you to spam your Insta feed! Jam-packed with two giant ball pits, pulsating lights, quirky entertainment, pizzas and the best mix of RnB, disco, and house beats to party to.
There was a two-hour ticket which was enough to unleash the wild child in you with unlimited access to the ball pits. When we entered there was a weird, crazy atmosphere of young adults sinking down in the pit with some of them literally disappearing beneath those balls. The sight was both scary and exciting! I felt a little weird since I turned up with my parents to a place where these youngsters were sipping on fancy cocktails and getting sloshed with their friends. Never did I expect to come across to a concept like this one.
The vibe was so contagious but there was a hint of doubt in our head, Will we have fun sober? Is this the alcohol effect on all the people acting crazy out here or is the ball pit playground really magical? A minute later, three of us couldn’t help but take a dive ourselves to see what all the fuss was about….
We took turns sinking into the ball pit and extracting each other out when the other got in too deep. It was almost like being in a bubble bath where the point was absolutely not relaxation. We even tried to dance at one point, though in this case, dancing was more of an upper-body sport. At the end of my two-hour session in the pit, all three of us were panting and short of breath struggling to stand still while the other person attacks you and forces you to sink in the massive ball pit.
My experience in this magical time machine playground was surreal, where being silly is highly encouraged. Ballie Ballerson ball pit promises you to take back in time and make your wildest childhood fantasies come true. Giving me myriad laughs with my parents, we made memories we would always cherish and want to relive again!
